2010-11 Keith Kirkdorfer Memorial Scholarship Recipients

Rosemary Hamilton
Rosemary is planning to attend Indiana University South Bend for two years and then to transfer to Ball State to pursue a career in architecture.  She further plans equine science or teaching as a backup.  She has worked weekends for the Diamond-D-Ranch and has been involved in 4H for five years.  She has performed many community service hours through her 4H affiliation.  Rosemary has also been in the Business and Professionals of America group for three years and also was involved with SADD.

Syna D. Lace
Syna plans to attend either Western Michigan or Indiana University to obtain a degree in secondary education.  She has been involved in student council for two years and participated in volleyball, basketball and soccer.  Syna also wrote for the school newspaper and has received awards for fitness.  She was a member of the woman’s choir.  She works for Perfect Pizza in Elkhart as an assistant manager and she teaches pre-school at her church.

Kyle F. Ramsey
Kyle is planning to attend Grand Valley University and pursue a degree in Radiology.  He has played football and baseball for four years, basketball for one and wrestling for one.  Kyle has also volunteered at the new Sports Complex as well as at his church and has worked for the past three summers for Kopf Farms doing whatever needed to be done on the property.

Bridget Teter
Bridget is planning to attend Andrews University and pursue an education in animal science.   She has been a member of 4H for eight years and participated in soccer for four years and been a member of the Edwardsburg Equestrian team for three years.  Bridget has been a EYSA referee.  Her family background includes a grandfather who was a farmer and passed his love beef cattle and horses to her.

Alan Wagner
Alan is planning to attend the University of Southern California and obtain a degree in game Design.  He has been involved in marching band, pit band, pep band and the orchestra.  He was a member of national honor society and participated in science Olympiad.  He also attended the Math and Science Center and is involved in his church youth group.  Alan was recently hired as a food vendor at Coveleski stadium.
