Joshua Brown
Joshua will attend Grove City College to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. During his high school years, he completed studies at the Berrien County Mathematics and Science Center. During his senior year, he was active in the Robotics Club and was a leader in the Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (Awana) Clubs. He also was a member of the high school band for two years.

Jonathan Bywaters
Jonathan has been accepted for enrollment at Grand Valley State University where he will pursue a degree in respiratory therapy. During high school, he played varsity football, and was a volunteer Rocket Football coach during his junior and senior years.
Summer employment has been at Upstream Waters Landscape Inc.

Laura Coble
Laura will attend Western Michigan University with plans to major in nursing and minor in human development. In high school, she participated in band, choir, theater, and various sports. A member of the National Honor Society, she also was president of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and a captain of the color guard. She is employed by Steak n’ Shake.

Carrie Easton
Carrie plans to attend Baker College. In high school, she volunteered extensively in the community, and participated in theater, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and was a member of choir and Bella Voce. She had been employed by Hob Nob.

Kaley Frank
Kaley has received a Faculty Honors Scholarship to Calvin College where she plans to study chemical engineering. Named the Outstanding Senior of the Class of 2014 and the recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award, Kaley was vice president of her class and of the National Honor Society, and was a four-year representative on the Student Council on which she also served as vice president. A member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), she also volunteered extensively in the community and was a softball mentor on a traveling team.

Olivia Hack
Olivia plans to attend Southwestern Michigan College to become a registered nurse with a goal of working in pediatric nursing. She was a three year varsity basketball player, was named all-conference honorable mention in 2012-2013; 1st team all conference (2013-2014), most valuable player (2013-2014), and served as team captain for two years. She also participated in track for four years, and was a regional qualifier for three years. She has been active in youth basketball camps, where she has taught basketball skills. Student organizations have included Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD).

Abbie Harris
Abbie will enroll at Southwestern Michigan College and study to become an emergency dispatcher with the goal of eventually becoming an emergency manager. She has been extensively involved in community organizations. She is president of the Flaming Youth 4-H Club, was a founding member of the Edwardsburg Fire Auxiliary, and a member of the Michigan Nature Association, where she was the youngest MNA steward, and a recipient of the national Youth Naturalist Award. Abbie has been a member of the Michigan Youth Conservation Council and has been active in the Cass County Fair and the Dowagiac Conservation Club. High School activities included track and field, cheerleading, and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). She has been employed by Texas Roadhouse.

Kristen Miller
Kristen plans to attend Grand Valley State University, where she will major in pre-med with the goal of attending medical school to become a family physician. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). A member of the Mechanicsburg 4-H Club for 12 years, she is the club’s vice president. She was a captain of the cross country team, and a member of the track team, as well a cheerleader for two years. She is the praise team leader at her church. During the fall and spring seasons, she is a referee for the Edwardsburg Youth Soccer Association. She formerly was employed by Texas Roadhouse.

Brendan Reed
Brendan plans to attend the University of Michigan to study astrophysics. He was a four-year member of the golf team and a two-year member of the football team. He was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, and participated in community service through the LEOs program. He is employed by McDonald’s.

Casey Reese
Casey is enrolled at Grand Valley State University to major in legal studies and minor in psychology. Her goal is to attend James Madison Law School and to become an attorney with specialization in divorce law. She was a member of Educational Talent Search (ETS) and the National Honor Society. She participated in band, choir, theater, and volunteered as a summer camp counselor. Casey has been a Sunday school teacher, and a community volunteer. She is employed by Gloria Jeans Coffee Shop.

Andrew Shafer
Andrew will enroll at California Polytechnic State University to study architecture. He was a team member of Science Olympiad throughout high school, participated in marching band, and completed studies at the Berrien County Math and Science Center. Andrew was a leader of his church youth group, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He has been employed by the Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Department at the Merrifield Public Pool.

Bailey Thomas
Bailey plans to major in exercise sciences at Western Michigan University and then enter a physical therapy program. She was a three-year representative on the Student Council, class treasurer for three years, and was a member of the LEOs, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and Educational Talent Search (ETS). Bailey was a member of the Varsity Sideline Cheer Team for three years and captain during her senior year. She also participated in the competitive team and received all-conference honorable mention. She participated on the varsity softball team for two years and was a senior year captain. Bailey is employed by Praxis-Patrick Industries.

Andrea Wagoner
Andrea plans to attend the University of Michigan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in science with the goal of becoming a pediatric dentist. She was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), the National Honor Society, and was active in Student Council. A member of the Varsity Tennis Team and the Equestrian Team, both for three years, she also was active in the 5-H Horse Club. She has volunteered extensively in the community. Andrea is employed by Martin’s Supermarket.

Sarah Ward
Sarah plans to attend Indiana University South Bend to become a registered nurse and then take further studies to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology nursing. During her high school years, she was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Pennies for Patients program. She is an HMS host.

Zachary Williams
Zachary plans to enroll at Indiana University South Bend to major in business with the goal of becoming a certified public accountant. High school activities included two years on the baseball team, three years on the football team, and one year on the cross country team. He was a member of the Student Council for four years and a member of the National Honor Society. He has volunteered for his church, for the Rocket Football Pumpkin Bowl, the middle school football camp, and for various other projects.
